IT Students Looking for IT Project

Charles Borras, and two other students, who are students in the Computer Applications Development Program are looking to do a free software development project for a Kitchener-Waterloo business.

The project will be done in satisfaction of a major course in the Winter term.  If you know someone who needs a program written that will interact with a database, then please let me know.

Anyone in business or the non-profit sector who looking for someone to write some software for free for them should contact the Conestoga College IT Department with their proposal.

How software developers can help RIM

I read an article recently that claims that the reason why RIM is doing poorly in sales relative to iPhones and Google Android is because RIM's blackberry is not offering an interesting new applications.  It would seem, then, if the IT giant is to survive and thrive that it needs to have some good applications written for it.  I have some in mind.  More writers for this blog about K-W Entrepreneurs is welcome.  Please not that it is a blog about entrepreneurship in K-W and not necessarily just about IT in the area.

Charles Borras, IT Professional

Charles Borras, IT Professional.  I like the sound of that.  I've recently completed my first of two terms at Conestoga College in Computer Applications Development.  It is a great program.  By the end of the program I will have learned what is normally taught in a two-year period.  I stronly urge anyone who is interested in Computer Applications Development to look at the Conestoga College Website and learn more.
