The K-W Entrepreneurs LinkedIn Group now has nearly 100 members.
It is a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit of Kitchener-Waterloo when so many entrepreneurs band together in this way.
I welcome postings to the group which help members leverage each other to get ahead.

Getting what we can't elsewhere
Maybe it's just me, but it seems that the reason for being for an entrepreneurs networking group is to have a place where entrepreneurs can get the things they can't elsewhere.
Comments are welcome.

K-W Entrepreneurs LinkedIn Group now has 32 Members
After starting the K-W Entrepreneurs LinkedIn Group only a few months ago, the group has grown to 32 Members.
This is very good news for the health and future of the group as all but a few of the Members found the group themselves and requested membership.
It will be interesting to see how the group can be used by its members to achieve the objectives of individual group members.
One member already suggested through his LinkedIn profile that people join his Facebook group.
I think I understand why: communication and idea sharing is easier and more fluid on Facebook.

One source of business ideas
One source of business ideas is with people who already own and manage companies or who work for companies.
Through existing work, an idea crops up.
Quite often the idea is outside the company's core business.
People who have these ideas and want to develop them should be encourage to talk to others about developing them and starting their own companies.
Of course, any non-competition and propietary issues (if any) should be taken into consideration in advance of taking the plunge.

Where to get business ideas
Finding a viable business idea is the most difficult thing to do in setting up a business.
Let's face it. The rest is execution.
There is precious little in terms of resources to generate new business ideas.
I've yet to find a resource that talks about how you generate them.
They could also just be a function of luck.
